WHO ARE WE?

We are Admin on a couple of consumer forums who feel strongly that consumers CAN be empowered to take on the large financial institutions themselves, especially with regards reclaiming charges and PPI where there are already tried and tested techniques. Once the much talked about OFT v Banks test case on unauthorised overdraft fees is concluded alongside any group actions to sort out the finer points, we feel it will be very straightforward to reclaim charges. Having seen simple, one form to complete style reclaims, such as for Child tax credits recently, being monetised by claims management companies by misleading consumers into feeling it is more complex than necessary and thus collect fees for, in many cases, posting a letter, we felt it important to let consumers know there is a choice, and that they are able to undertake reclaims themselves.

Hence this guide to free do-it-yourself internet consumer forums and websites. We do understand their is a need for Claims management companies, and we are writing a guide to finding and using one so you can feel confident your claims and personal information are in safe hands, and showing you how to complain if things do go wrong.
